Meet the Team
Bukola Abiola - Project Manager
As Project Manager, Bukola will be one of the primary members of the team you'll get to meet.
Bukola is originally from Nigeria and moved to Fredericton with her husband and son in 2019 to study at UNB. Her family love it here in Fredericton and have decided to call it their new home.
She believes in using her time and skills to make the world a better place. When the opportunity to join the iGenNB team came she was excited, because aligning with the vision was seamless. She can't wait to connect with you!
Anita Newling - Project Coordinator
As Project Coordinator Anita will be one of the first members of the team you connect with.
Anita is originally for the UK but has called Fredericton home for nearly 2 decades. She lives with her husband, 2 daughters and their bunny James.
In life and through her work as a nurse and educator Anita has always advocated for inclusivity, valuing everyone’s contribution to our community. She is delighted to be working on the iGenNB team and looks forward to meeting you.
Kathleen MacPhee - Social Worker
As the team Social Worker, Kathleen will be contacting you at the outset of your participation with the project, and will be available to you for the duration of your involvement.
Originally from Cape Breton, Kathleen has made Fredericton home for all of her adult life. With her adult children out on their own, she lives in Marysville with her husband and three cats. In addition to her work with iGenNB, Kathleen owns a private counselling practice.
Passionate about reducing social isolation amongst seniors and affordable housing for youth, Kathleen is excited to be a part of the iGenNB team.
Andrea Trenholm - Postdoctural Researcher
As the Postdoctoral Researcher from St. Thomas University on the team, Andrea will contact you to discuss iGenNB’s research component and schedule interview conversations with you. Originally from Alberta and having grown up in Ontario, Andrea has called Fredericton home for over 12 years. She lives with her husband, her two small children, and her husky, Echo. As a social sciences researcher, Andrea is passionate about hearing people’s stories and believes that each individual carries important knowledge. She looks forward to meeting you and hearing about your experiences with iGenNB.
Aimée Foreman - Project Co-Lead
Aimée is Silvermark’s founder and CEO. As industry lead, and project co-lead for iGenNB, Aimée brings her expertise in service delivery across the public, private and non-profit sectors to the team. She will lead the creation of a guide to advance intergenerational living locally and to support other communities wanting to develop homesharing programs.
Improving the quality of life for older adults through connection, purpose and meaning is at the heart of all Silvermark projects. Aimée resides in New Maryland with her husband, two children and pet dog, all of whom feel fortunate to live just a few minutes away from both sets of grandparents.
Fiona Williams - Project Support
Fiona is an Associate with Silvermark and brings her passion for safe affordable housing, social programming, and social work to the iGenNB project. She leads collaborations directly with older adults to guide project outcomes. Fiona is ensuring the voice of lived experience is reflected in the program.
Fortunate to have lived in five provinces and three other countries, Fiona considers Fredericton her home after 15 years here. Fiona shares her home with her large cat, loves walking the City’s walking bridge with friends, and writes the biographies of friends and family.
